Joe began his journey in the market research and data collection industry in 2014, steadily evolving into a dynamic sales and operations leader. At SAGO, he advanced from roles such as Qualitative Recruiter to Project Manager and Sr. Project Manager—where he successfully managed hundreds of studies with some of SAGO’s largest healthcare clients, typically handling 20+ projects simultaneously—before ultimately excelling as Client Solutions Director.

Throughout his tenure, Joe worked closely with insights providers such as Adelphi Research, Brado, and Hall & Partners, among others. One of his greatest strengths is his ability to analyze a screener with both a strategic and participant-focused perspective. He adeptly steps into the respondent’s shoes—methodically reviewing each question and sequence to ensure clarity and neutrality, asking, “Does this make sense? Are the questions and their sequence causing bias?” This meticulous approach, combined with his strategic programming of the screener, has had a significant impact on project success.

When managing projects, Joe makes it a point to be a step ahead—anticipating clients’ needs and preemptively addressing any questions they might have regarding recruitment. His success in juggling multiple projects stems from his keen eye for detail and a holistic strategy: setting projects up for success from the outset, strategically pulling samples, analyzing data and patterns during fielding, and consistently collaborating and consulting with clients and colleagues.

Residing in Philadelphia with his husband and two Goldendoodles, River and Remi, Joe enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, and exploring new culinary adventures. A passionate home chef with an impressive collection of kitchen gadgets, he loves experimenting with new recipes. Dedicated to fostering inclusive workplace cultures, he also founded SAGO’s LGBTQ ERG and actively contributed to DEI initiatives, embodying his belief in the power of diversity to drive business excellence.
