Liz Murphy
Field Manager
Liz began her career in market research in 2012 as a programmer, steadily building her expertise and advancing into leadership roles including Assistant Manager of Programming, Project Manager, Senior Project Manager, and most recently Account Manager. Over this time, she has successfully managed more than 300 qualitative studies—primarily in the healthcare and pharmaceutical space—partnering with clients such as Eli Lilly, Merck, Abbott, Baxter, and Bristol Myers Squibb.
Her background as a registered nurse during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic provides Liz with a rare perspective in the research field: she not only understands the science and strategy behind pharmaceuticals, but also the realities of patient care. This dual experience allows her to connect with clients on a deeper level, blending empathy with rigorous problem-solving to deliver meaningful results.
Liz is known for her ability to give every client and every project “white glove” treatment. She approaches each engagement as the most important, ensuring projects are set up for success from the outset, and handling challenges with both accountability and speed. Her grit, humor, and collaborative spirit make her a trusted partner to colleagues and clients alike. She believes that project success is driven by preparation, adaptability, and a relentless commitment to client satisfaction and meaningful outcomes.
GURU SKILL: TRANSLATING HEALTHCARE INTO STRATEGY
Liz bridges the gap between frontline patient care and pharmaceutical research, using her dual perspective to anticipate challenges, set projects up for success, and deliver insights that are both scientifically sound and human-centered.
Liz holds a BS in Marketing from Temple University, a Mini-MBA from Cornell University, and a BSN in Nursing from Gwynedd Mercy University, where she also earned her RN. This diverse educational background reflects her ability to bridge business strategy with clinical understanding, a perspective that continues to shape her work in healthcare research.
Outside of work, Liz lives in the Philadelphia area with her husband and two young children. Her family is her greatest purpose and motivation, inspiring her to create a better future for her boys in everything she does. She enjoys cooking, cherishes holiday traditions, and especially loves celebrating Christmas with her family.
